Description of the project
In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, the role of non-formal education in fostering sustainability and inclusivity has never been more crucial. "Forward Together: Harnessing Digital Transformation for Inclusive and Sustainable Non-Formal Learning" is a pioneering training course designed specifically for youth workers who aspire to make a tangible difference. As the dynamics of learning shift towards integrating technological advancements with core societal values, this course seeks to unite educators and innovators who believe in the power of collective progression.
We are actively reaching out to potential partners who share our passion for driving change. Together, we aim to create a robust network that harnesses the potential of digital transformation, paving the way for a more sustainable and inclusive future in non-formal education settings.
Main Objectives:
Equip Participants with Foundational Knowledge: To provide participants with a solid understanding of non-formal education and its pivotal role in shaping sustainable and inclusive communities.
Digital Empowerment: To introduce participants to the latest digital tools and platforms, ensuring they can integrate technology effectively in their teaching and outreach efforts.
Foster Sustainability and Inclusivity: To delve deep into methodologies that promote sustainability and inclusivity in non-formal education, ensuring no one is left behind in the digital age.
Network Building: To facilitate connections among youth workers from diverse backgrounds, fostering collaborations, sharing best practices, and developing a united front for the challenges of tomorrow.
Hands-on Experience: To provide practical sessions where participants can apply their learning, ensuring they leave with actionable skills and strategies.
Financial
The Programme covers
- 100% of accommodation
- 3 meals / day (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- All activity costs and training tools
Travel costs to and from the venue (Kalamata, Greece) are reimbursed according to the new Erasmus+ lump sums, Based on the travel distance per participant. Travel distances must be calculated using the distance calculator supported by the European Commission (http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/tools/distance_en.htm) , after completion of the training course and collection of all necessary travel documents.
